Why Trunk or Treat?

At its heart, Trunk or Treat is more than just candy and costumes, it’s community with a purpose. We believe the church should be present in the world, not hidden from it. While culture celebrates the spooky and the dark this time of year, we choose to step into that space and bring the light of the Kingdom with us. By hosting a fun, family-friendly environment, we create a place where community, connection and safety can thrive.

We do Trunk or Treat because we believe outreach doesn’t always have to look like a sermon. It can look like a smile, a decorated trunk, or a handful of candy given in love. This event lets us meet people right where they are and remind them they’re seen, valued, and welcome.

Trunk or Treat is a free, family-friendly event where volunteers decorate their car trunks and hand out candy in a fun, safe environment. Think of it as a community block party with creativity, costumes, and connection - all centered around joy and kindness.
Trunk or Treat is happening on Saturday, October 25th from 4 pm - 6pm | CST right here at the church. Depending on the weather you may need to layer up!
Everyone! Families, friends, the entire neighborhood of Omaha. Whether you call this church home or you’ve never been to church at all, you’re invited to join the fun.
